Dinners that Matter

Dinners That Matter is a social initiative created to inspire and generate collaboration between diners, restaurants and locally active businesses that are committed to supporting their local community.
On the “Dinners That Matter” selected dates, participating restaurants will donate 25% of the revenue of that night to a specific project focused on serving the local community.
All you need to do to show your support is have dinner at one of the participating restaurants on the selected dates.
“Dinners That Matter” will contribute in the event organization, rally the participants and spread the word. Our objective is to create a community, a message and a communication platform in which we can make a difference.

Small Foundation

In 2010 Small Foundation financed the installation of Canal Satellite Digital, paying the monthly fees and maintenance to give children access to 140 channels TV's Sant Joan de Deu Hospital located in children's rooms of different units, including the Pediatric Oncology , and in the same way its being done in the Hospital Vall d'Hebron.
The long hours that children must pass in their beds while receiving chemotherapy are endless if you do not have access to different alternatives that can be distracting.
Thanks to the fantastic support of other foundations, children have several great choices (teachers, clowns, magicians, games room, volunteers.), but unfortunately the options of children's entertainment in the various television channels, especially during school hours, are not the ideals for them. Being able to access to the Satellite Channels children gives them more choice, especially for situations where their weak physical condition does not allow them to enjoy more active options.
The resources obtained through Dinners That Matter campaign will help the Foundation continue to finance "Small" fees for both hospitals and providing this attention to children.
